As a Member, you are required to be present at our general meetings with the intent on gaining more insight on Foster Care, and to give valuable input and opinions on fundraising ideas, events, etc.
The Application Process occurs in two phases: pre-training and member training. To ensure that members and tutors are receiving the proper training and instruction for the remote learning in the 2020 - 2021 academic year.
Member training sessions are set to occur at the beginning of each semester to account for new incoming members. Training sessions occur online, and consist of the following: history and purpose of TKV, trauma-based education, diversity competency, and testimonials from community partners and TKV parents.
To reserve a date, please select it in your membership application. Shortly after, there will be an email sent with the meeting details/invite.

Member Training
Member Training Sessions
Member training sessions are pre-recorded by Resource Coordinators. Within these sessions, there will be modules regarding TKV history, trauma-based education, diversity competency, and testimonials.
Member training is 100% VIRTUAL this Spring 2021 semester. You are responsible for watching each module of the training and receiving 70% or more on each follow-up quiz.

Complete background check form. You should receive a clearance email within a couple of days. Once you receive this email, please forward it to us at tankapvini@gmail.com.

3. Take 14 question test - password: UNCC 2018
4. Send certification to tankapvini@gmail.com.
One-time $10 payment, paid in cash or through our Venmo account. The final payment deadline for Spring 2021 is February 19th, 2021.
